ILCU Foundation CU Challenge 2024

Carnglen Credit Union is taking part in the CU Challenge 2024!

Carnglen Credit Union is delighted to announce that it is participating in the CU Challenge 2024, organised by the ILCU International Development Foundation.

From 7th – 13th October, staff and volunteers from the Irish credit union movement will collectively walking and running 1 million steps a day for 7 days!

The aim of the event is raise awareness and funds for the continued development of the credit union movements in the countries where the Foundation works. The funds raised will support training and education of credit union staff and Board directors, and also members. As a financial cooperative credit unions provide much needed access to affordable and ethical savings and loans for members, empowering individuals, their families and the community.
