The Youth Committee is open to members of Carnglen Credit Union who are aged 16-35
It is a group that aims to engage young people in our local community and give them a voice in helping to improve the services of Carnglen Credit Union from their point of view.

Art Competition & Schools Quiz
Help with organising the art competition and school’s quiz.
Planning & Strategy
Helping with the creation of a Youth Committee plan & structure.
Market Research
Gather information about younger people in the common bond and want young people want from the Credit Union.
Creating Social Media Content
Creating engaging digital content for social media channels to help attract a younger audience.
Community Outreach & Collaboration
Establish contact with schools, youth clubs, sports clubs etc to promote the Credit Union
Attend ILCU Events
attend meetings organised by the ILCU or relevant organisations to network and share information
Initiatives
Organise events to get young people engaged with the credit union and to attract younger members
Presentation skills
Working together with local schools etc to promote financial skills, savings, workshops.
